About the position

D-BAT Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, focusing on enhancing the financial and customer experience performance of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball or softball and be well-connected within the OKC baseball/softball community. This role involves regular communication with the ownership group and requires effective management of staff and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of business operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Oversee instructional staff and develop operational policies to enhance business performance.
• Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff for various positions within the facility.
• Manage shift operations, ensuring effective performance by all team members.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop strong working relationships with local baseball/softball organizations, including league parks, travel organizations, and schools.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of the facility.
• Oversee camp and clinic operations.
• Assist with management of social media accounts, particularly Facebook and Instagram.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports or retail management.
• Strong background in baseball/softball preferred.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in team management, including training, mentoring, and developing staff.
• Experience in shift management with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
