About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a McDonald's restaurant owned by an independent franchisee. This role involves ensuring the restaurant meets high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness while driving profitability. The General Manager collaborates with Department Managers to set and achieve restaurant goals, providing coaching and support to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Run a profitable restaurant while meeting customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them.
• Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals and providing coaching and direction.
• Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership team for the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager in high volume locations is required.
• Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
