About the position

The General Manager (GM) at Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple restaurant locations. This role focuses on building and developing a high-performing team, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and safety, and driving profitability. The GM acts as a liaison with other leadership, promotes the company's culture and values, and is accountable for all aspects of restaurant performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a team with high potential into leaders.
• Achieve and maintain world-class operations with a well-developed crew and staff.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, customer service, food safety, and store cleanliness.
• Understand and perform every job in the restaurant as needed.
• Be accountable for all aspects of restaurant performance and serve as the ultimate decision-maker.
• Engage in clear and consistent communication with field leadership and restaurant staff.
• Demonstrate respect for individual team members and appreciate their contributions.
• Build an effective team through training and development, providing meaningful performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent strong financial results.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of restaurant experience with proven leadership experience on all shifts.
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check including MVR.
• Must be able to pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam.
