About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Immersive Hub, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and compliance with health and safety protocols. This role involves managing staff, maintaining building systems, and acting as a liaison with production for technical needs. The General Manager leads the Assistant Manager and is accountable for the overall presentation and safety of the venue.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth and safe running of all activities at the site.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and security in all areas of the venue.
  • Oversee the management of cleaning contracts and ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Train staff in evacuation procedures and health and safety practices.
  • Act as the primary key holder, responding to security and fire alarm calls as needed.
  • Manage payroll and departmental budgets effectively.
  • Support the recruitment of operational staff and manage various operational teams.
  • Ensure all visitors have the best possible experience through exceptional guest service training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience in event planning
  • Leadership skills
  • Cash handling experience

  • Experience in marketing
