About the position

The General Manager position at ManpowerGroup in El Paso, Texas, is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the office. This includes managing personnel, ensuring safety and compliance, driving sales growth, maintaining customer satisfaction, and meeting budget requirements. The role requires strong leadership and management skills to create a positive working environment and to ensure the office meets its operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all team members including the performance review process and compliance with mandatory training, while creating a positive working environment.
  • Accountable for performance of the P&L and overall profit margin of the office.
  • Identifies and maintains all necessary resources, including personnel and equipment to meet performance and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Drives business and markets all capabilities and services.
  • Prepares fiscally responsible cost estimates and participates in job walks.
  • Responsible for the coordination, management, and physical participation (as needed) of scheduled projects, emergency responses, etc.
  • Resolves customer concerns, and regulatory, compliance and safety issues as required.
  • Monitors ongoing updates of equipment and parts inventories and oversees purchasing process to ensure quality, cost effectiveness and compliance with regulated certification requirements.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by Vice President of Operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ Years construction/environmental industry knowledge and experience required
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Recognized and reputable in the industry with established customer relationships
  • Capable of reviewing and evaluating P&L's including tracking and analyzing versus developed budgets
  • Well-rounded with technical expertise in multiple service lines within the environmental industry
  • Proficient computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere
  • Problem solver with strong work ethic and ability to think outside of the box
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Education: High School diploma required
