About the position

The General Manager at Symphony Pointe, Agemark Senior Living, is responsible for overseeing all operations of a vibrant Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. This role focuses on ensuring top-notch service, resident satisfaction, and operational success while driving the culture and financial performance of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the property leadership team, fostering professional development and accountability for achieving business results.
  • Oversee operations including sales, marketing, resident services, and community partnerships to ensure a high-quality living experience.
  • Create and execute strategies aligned with Agemark's mission, vision, and values to drive community success.
  • Manage budgets, review financial reports, and ensure efficient resource use, including capital expenditures.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local partners to enhance community reputation and foster inclusion.
  • Lead Quality Improvement Programs and maintain compliance with Agemark's high standards of care and service.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish goals and drive lead generation for occupancy growth.
  • Ensure the property remains tour-ready and consistently maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, senior living, or a related field with a proven track record of success in operations, sales, and financial management.
  • Experience in Independent Living/Assisted Living/Memory Care is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
  • Strong computer and social media skills are essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration across departments.
