About the position

The General Manager at RISE Dispensary is responsible for leading and managing a diverse team to drive results and deliver exceptional consumer experiences. This role encompasses overseeing all dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive team environment. The General Manager acts as an ambassador for social change within the community, focusing on employee development and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direction, oversight, and execution of all dispensary operations.
  • Ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
  • Drive revenue and profit through effective execution of programs and promotions.
  • Oversee quality product inventory and financial records, ensuring Seed to Sale compliance.
  • Maintain cash management protocols and conduct daily reconciliations.
  • Manage order and expense processes aligned with store budgets.
  • Conduct monthly audits and scorecard business reviews to identify operational inefficiencies.
  • Coach Leaders and Team Members to deliver memorable customer experiences.
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling of 'Leader on Duty' presence in the store.
  • Drive revenue through a seamless omni-channel customer experience.
  • Serve as a liaison to the local community and support outreach initiatives.
  • Build and retain a high-performing team through effective onboarding and training.
  • Inspire a culture of engagement and performance through coaching and recognition.
  • Monitor staffing needs and ensure compliance with scheduling practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable business experience.
  • At least five years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Inventory control experience is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be 21 years or older and pass required background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Solid understanding of cannabis laws and regulations.
