About the position

The General Manager at Wingstop is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing both front and back-of-house teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to develop and grow the team while working closely with the District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant in partnership with the District Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage the front and back-of-house teams.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train team members in collaboration with the District Manager.
• Manage performance of team members through coaching, counseling, and discipline.
• Communicate job expectations and monitor employee performance.
• Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Resolve issues with food preparation and customer service.
• Maintain a safe and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
• Identify and communicate maintenance problems to the Facilities Department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Food Handler Certification required (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking is a plus.
