About the position

The General Manager (GM) at Toppers Pizza in Tega Cay is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring high standards of service and food quality, managing team performance, and optimizing profits. The GM leads by example, promotes the company's mission and core values, and is involved in various aspects of restaurant management including inventory, staffing, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Toppers store location.
• Manage selection, development, and performance of Team Members.
• Ensure inventory and ordering of food and supplies is optimized.
• Promote Topper's Mission and Core Values.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with their experience.
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and laws.
• Supervise portion control and minimize waste.
• Estimate food needs and place orders with distributors.
• Ensure a safe working environment and reduce risk of injury.
• Manage shifts, including scheduling and planning.
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure positive experiences.
• Develop and oversee local store marketing efforts.
• Maintain building and equipment in good repair.
• Provide direction and feedback to employees.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage staffing needs.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• ServSafe certified and uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
• 2 years of restaurant or retail management experience or completion of Manager in Training (MIT) Program.
• Proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and personnel management.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
