About the position

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Burger King is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a single restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving desired outcomes such as increased sales and employee retention. This role involves leading the restaurant management team, managing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with company standards across all shifts. The RGM must be adaptable to work long or irregular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction and desired outcomes.
  • Lead the restaurant management team and oversee financial controls and operations.
  • Develop and train team members to enhance guest service and compliance.
  • Interact with team members, management, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work long and/or irregular shifts as necessary for the restaurant's functioning.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong understanding of P&L interpretation and management.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
