About the position

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Taco Bell/KFC franchise, ensuring efficient management and customer satisfaction. This role involves executing administrative duties, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations while driving profitability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create value for shareholders through efficient operations and cost controls.
• Manage a corporate-owned restaurant within company policies, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
• Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies.
• Manage profit and loss by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory, and reviewing financial reports.
• Recruit, interview, and hire team members; conduct performance appraisals and take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities through a preventative maintenance program.
• Guarantee food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Execute corporate and local marketing programs in a timely manner.
• Facilitate a safe working environment by promoting safe work behaviors among the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills.
• Computer literacy and analysis skills.
