About the position

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all restaurant activities, ensuring that operations align with the restaurant's goals. The GM leads the team, ensuring that all members meet their job responsibilities and performance expectations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage the restaurant effectively and maintain a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant activities and ensure alignment with restaurant goals.
• Ensure all team members perform their job responsibilities and meet expectations.
• Conduct weekly in-store manager meetings to review restaurant performance.
• Manage and operate the restaurant effectively, working a minimum of 45 hours per week.
• Motivate employees to work as a team to meet food and service standards.
• Handle pressures of coordinating multiple activities and recommend solutions to restaurant problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience in a restaurant setting.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Local Bartender's (Class D Operator's) License or Local Manager's (Class B Operator's) License required.
• State of Wisconsin Food Manager Certificate (ServSafe preferred).
• First Aid Certification and AED Certification.
