About the position

The General Manager at Claim Jumper is responsible for leading a team in a lively casual dining and bar environment, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests while maintaining high operational standards. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating restaurant operations, with a focus on guest satisfaction and staff support. Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of the operations during scheduled shifts, including decision-making and staff support.
• Ensure 100% interaction with guests and prioritize their needs while enforcing performance standards.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit staff accordingly.
• Monitor food and beverage purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking, handling, and serving to meet quality standards.
• Organize and direct training programs within the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean and safe restaurant environment at all times.
• Ensure the highest quality levels of products and hospitality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate hospitality on all levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Four-year college degree preferred but not required.
