About the position

The General Manager at Pacifica Host Hotels is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Crowne Plaza Dallas Medical Area/Love Field. This role focuses on achieving revenue and profit goals while ensuring high standards of guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. The General Manager will provide leadership, training, and support to hotel staff, maintaining a high-quality product and service level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily hotel operations to achieve planned revenue and profit goals.
  • Ensure high standards for guest satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, training, direction, and support to hotel employees.
  • Maintain quality assurance and asset protection standards.
  • Hire, develop, and build a strong team.
  • Understand profitability and cost control measures.
  • Utilize various computer software applications for operations and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience as a General Manager or in another hotel management role.
  • Strong guest relations skills.
  • Knowledge of profitability and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
