About the position

The General Manager at Triple Shift Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the operations of the venue, ensuring quality customer service, safety compliance, and adherence to company HR guidelines. This role requires a strong focus on financial performance, staff management, and community engagement, all while embodying the company's core values of Spirit, Courage, Respect, Own It, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial statements, sales, or other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement or to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
  • Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures according to direction.
  • Hire and train staff to ensure excellence in service.
  • Perform personnel functions, such as selection, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Handle disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.
  • Conduct staff meetings to communicate goals and updates.
  • Work late nights and weekends to observe staff productivity and customer service.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure the center's security system is properly used.
  • Assist in the direction and implementation of all center operations to increase revenue and lower costs.
  • Complete and review all inventory reports.
  • Process invoices and manage financial documentation.
  • Develop and increase community relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a General Manager required.
  • Ability to take direction and foster a team environment.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and excellence standards.
  • Willingness to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to remain alert and focused in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
  • Effective collaboration with venue staff.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in task execution.
  • Superior time management and prioritization skills.
