About the position

As a General Manager at MOD Pizza, you will be responsible for leading the store operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and fostering a strong team culture. This role emphasizes accountability, business acumen, and a genuine passion for people. You will focus on developing your team, engaging with customers, and driving business results while embodying MOD's values and culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the store and drive business results.
• Provide leadership to the entire Squad, focusing on the Store Coach and Shift Captains.
• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and develop action plans.
• Engage the Squad in problem-solving to achieve store goals.
• Maintain staffing levels through proactive talent recruitment and selection.
• Build and sustain community relationships.
• Utilize forecasts and labor models to manage staffing and schedules.
• Execute training programs for new and existing Squad members.
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety within the store.
• Hold Squad accountable for performance and foster a growth mindset.
• Manage store inventory levels and ensure proper ordering and processing of supplies.
• Maintain accurate cash management and communicate effectively with the Squad.

Requirements

• 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant.
• Proven success in training, developing, and leading teams.
• Experience in ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory in a food service environment.
• Must obtain food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Nice-to-haves

• College Education in Business or Related Field may substitute a portion of required experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
