About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the Hardee's restaurant in Rome, GA. This role focuses on ensuring that team members are customer-oriented and meet performance expectations. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members, while upholding the company's values of People, Hospitality, and Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire staff, maintaining a bench for future growth.
• Execute marketing plans, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
• Ensure proper staffing and training of Team Members through effective training programs.
• Provide leadership to create excitement and commitment to company objectives.
• Maintain correct inventory levels and ensure equipment is in excellent condition.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in all phases of restaurant operations and technology.
• Supervise according to established performance and operating policies.
• Motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Crew Members to perform at their best.
• Review preliminary P/L's and communicate questions to the District Manager.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years management experience in a quick service dining concept.
• Financial/Analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate and use all necessary restaurant equipment.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• High sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
