About the position

The General Manager at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the full operations of a restaurant location. This position focuses on driving business results while fostering a positive and motivating store culture. The General Manager will work closely with their team to ensure high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, while also mentoring and developing future leaders within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Run the full day-to-day operations of the restaurant location.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets Popeyes high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans to achieve store goals.
  • Provide mentoring and direction to create a positive and energetic store culture.
  • Hire, train, and develop leaders and team members to achieve current and future goals.
  • Forecast payroll and write crew schedules.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Interact positively and professionally with guests and coworkers.

Requirements

  • One year of General Manager experience in the quick service/fast food restaurant industry or at least six months of Popeyes managerial experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate and analyze data and interpret Profit and Loss Statements.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Open to working a 50+ hour work schedule weekly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe certified or capable of attaining certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
