About the position

The General Manager at Qdoba is responsible for overseeing the complete operation of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in guest satisfaction and profitability while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role involves managing staff, budgets, and marketing efforts, as well as maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise shift operations and assistant managers
  • Strictly follow company cash handling procedures
  • Manage restaurant marketing and promotions
  • Manage overall restaurant budget
  • Understand and manage all COGS
  • Process payroll bi-weekly
  • Handle all guest comments promptly and professionally
  • Communicate team member issues and complaints to management
  • Coach and develop managers
  • Coach new team members
  • Assign training materials and trainers to new team members
  • Oversee departmental responsibilities
  • Interview and hire new team members
  • Conduct new team member orientations
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
  • Make appropriate decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Complete the Manager in Training program

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years working in a restaurant environment
  • Minimum of one year as general manager preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal skills
