About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a McDonald's restaurant, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves setting goals for the restaurant, leading a team of Department Managers, and coaching them to achieve their objectives. The General Manager also plays a key role in hiring and developing staff to ensure the restaurant's future success.

Responsibilities

  • Run a profitable restaurant while meeting customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them.
  • Lead and support a team of Department Managers, helping them set and achieve their own goals.
  • Provide coaching and direction to improve departmental performance.
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team for the future.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations.
  • Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
