About the position

The General Manager at Friendly's Ice Cream is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic vision of the establishment. This role emphasizes fostering a positive culture among team members and ensuring an outstanding experience for guests. The General Manager will lead a team, maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness, and uphold the brand's values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic vision for the restaurant.
• Develop, direct, and supervise Shift Managers and hourly Team Members.
• Ensure compliance with Friendly's policies and procedures.
• Maintain a strong presence in the front of the house to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Ensure a safe and harassment-free environment for all team members.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of products.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and team member appearance standards.
• Hire, train, coach, and counsel team members for professional development.
• Create schedules for Supervisors and Team Members.
