About the position

The Sports Bar General Manager at Buffalo Wild Wings is a leadership role responsible for creating an exceptional experience for sports fans. This position involves overseeing the management team, ensuring operational excellence, and driving community engagement and fundraising activities. The General Manager will also be accountable for financial performance, including managing Profit and Loss statements, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the restaurant's visibility and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sports bar management team to ensure operational excellence.
• Create and implement local restaurant marketing strategies.
• Analyze Profit and Loss statements to drive financial performance.
• Oversee community connection and fundraising activities.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health codes, and safe food handling practices.
• Champion change and manage the work of others effectively.
• Train and develop team members to enhance performance and engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4-5 years of management experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, and safe food handling.
• Experience with Profit and Loss statement analysis.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
