About the position

The General Manager at The Upper Crust Pizzeria is responsible for leading the restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality service and food, and creating a positive atmosphere that reflects the company's mission. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including employee management, guest services, and financial performance, while maintaining the standards set by Upper Crust.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers daily to build relationships and ensure quality service.
• Understand all aspects of the restaurant including employee retention, guest services, sanitation, food quality, and profits and loss.
• Hire and train staff according to Upper Crust specifications.
• Control cash flow by adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Work scheduled hours and manage any changes in schedule, providing 24-hour oversight of restaurant operations.
• Complete daily logs to ensure cleaning, sanitation, rotation, waste, and service quality standards are met.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Manage weekly profit and loss inventory, scheduling, marketing, ordering, and production.
• Ensure all deadlines are met on time with complete accuracy.
• Understand and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Enforce all handbook policies and standards set forth by Upper Crust.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the district manager.

Requirements

• College Degree Preferred or 3-5 Years of Relevant Experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• English language and professional communication skills are required.
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills preferred but not required.
• Serv-Safe Certified and Allergen Certified (if required by State) upon hire.
• Exhibit high-level cooking skills.
• Leadership Experience: 3 years (Required).
• Restaurant Experience: 3 years (Required).
