About the position

The General Manager (GM) at Coverall North America, Inc. is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the support center to maximize profitability. This role involves overseeing franchise sales, employee performance and development, and ensuring a culture aligned with the company's values. The GM will develop and execute operational plans, manage budgets, and maintain relationships with customers and franchisees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operational activities of the support center to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Oversee the performance and development of center employees.
  • Manage all franchise sales for the region.
  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new Franchise Owners.
  • Develop long and short-range operational plans for the region.
  • Provide timely budget forecasts regarding business levels and financial requirements.
  • Implement performance standards for the operational team and evaluate their performance.
  • Work with the Sales Manager and Outside Sales Consultants to achieve account sales initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and franchisees in the best interest of the Regional Support Center.
  • Ensure adherence to administrative policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience.
  • Previous P/L management experience required.
  • Operational experience in a service industry is preferred.
  • Business planning experience for a regional territory is required.
  • Solid experience managing and leading a diverse staff.
  • Ability to communicate and implement company objectives to personnel.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Superior problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • High-level of ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or knowledge of a franchise business is a plus.
