About the position

The General Manager at Dave & Buster's is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction to ensure the success of the business while fostering a culture of fun. This role involves motivating and developing a high-performing team, optimizing financial results, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The General Manager will oversee all operational aspects, including entertainment, food, beverage, and property management, while ensuring adherence to company standards and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain, and develop team members to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Cultivate a strategic team environment and direct the management team to maintain high performance standards.
• Execute staff training programs and ensure appropriate staffing levels for business needs.
• Lead and influence management staff through effective motivation and leveraging individual strengths.
• Select and develop Department Heads and Certified Trainers for internal promotion.
• Execute employee recognition and incentive programs to promote positive employee relations.
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses.
• Create annual budget and business plan to meet targeted financial performance.
• Capitalize on business opportunities by executing marketing strategies to drive sales.
• Maintain a strong community presence through partnerships with local organizations.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and execution of current D&B operating standards.
• Ability to develop team members in areas of responsibility.
• Proven track record of achieving expected store financial results.
