About the position

The General Manager at Fiery Crab is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, inventory, and financial performance while adhering to company policies and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, making final decisions on important matters.
  • Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
  • Ensure all financial and personnel-related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and federal/state/local laws.
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness and appearance standards.
  • Estimate food and beverage costs and manage inventory orders with distributors.
  • Supervise portion control and minimize waste in food preparation.
  • Ensure positive guest service and respond to complaints effectively.
  • Implement proper security procedures to protect employees and guests.
  • Manage shifts, including scheduling and planning while upholding standards.

Requirements

  • ServSafe certification is required.
  • Experience in restaurant management or a similar role is preferred.
