About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a McDonald's restaurant owned by an independent franchisee. This role involves ensuring the restaurant meets high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness while driving profitability. The General Manager collaborates with their leader to set goals and create plans to achieve them, leading a team of Department Managers to improve departmental performance and overall restaurant success.

Responsibilities

  • Run a profitable restaurant while meeting customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them.
  • Lead and coach Department Managers to set their own goals and improve their departments.
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership team for the future.

Requirements

  • Previous General Manager experience in high volume locations.
  • Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
