About the position

The General Manager at Jimmy John's is responsible for overseeing all aspects of in-store operations, ensuring that the store runs efficiently and meets brand compliance standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of in-store operations including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and brand guidelines.
• Manage cash handling and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Train and coach employees on store operations and procedures.
• Organize and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Handle fast-paced and high-stress situations effectively.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Possess Jimmy John Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to perform, teach, and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper, and Delivery Driver positions.
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
