About the position

The General Manager at Eureka! Restaurant Group is responsible for promoting the company's values and culture through effective leadership and management of restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Champion the needs of others through passion, integrity, and initiative to drive company culture.
• Drive growth within the restaurant through development, training, and fiscal responsibility.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Eureka! through grassroots marketing and talent acquisition.
• Train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees; communicate job expectations and monitor performance.
• Actively recruit, retain, and develop team members using various recruitment strategies.
• Contribute to the company's strategic plan through daily dialogue and formal reviews with colleagues and superiors.
• Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Achieve restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing an annual budget.
• Review portion control and minimize food, paper, and labor waste; execute accurate inventories regularly.
• Maximize bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in a General Manager role within the casual dining segment.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to develop and train future leaders.
• Food Manager certified.
• TIPs Certified.
• Minimum 4 years management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
