Dogtopia is seeking a General Manager to lead their team in providing exceptional dog daycare, boarding, and spa services. This role requires a business-minded individual with a management and operations background who is passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and creating a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs. The General Manager will oversee team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Maintain a neat and organized front desk area and team.
• Manage groomers, including quality control and scheduling.
• Control expenses within budgetary constraints and maximize efficiency.
• Develop team skills in up-selling and customer engagement.
• Create and monitor staffing schedules and employee development.
• Deliver performance reviews and provide positive feedback to employees.
• Onboard new employees and ensure proper training is provided.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for dogs and staff.
• Manage inventory of cleaning and dog supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Management and operations experience in a similar environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to train others.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
