About the position

Responsibilities

  • Execute and deliver all operational performance objectives resulting in guest satisfaction.
  • Order supplies and oversee building maintenance, cleanliness, and security.
  • Plan and work to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales and transaction targets.
  • Control food, paper, and labor costs in the restaurant and administer payrolls.
  • Recruit new team members and manage their performance, including training and development.
  • Set goals and objectives for the team and ensure open communication with all shifts.
  • Handle guest complaints and queries with professionalism and concern.
  • Prepare reports and performance analysis documentation.
  • Establish relationships with the local community and engage in corporate social responsibility activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and maintain high standards of guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operational management within a restaurant or similar environment.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
