About the position

The Dairy Queen General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the store, ensuring successful operations, growth, and profitability. This role involves maximizing sales through effective execution of systems and processes, while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager is also tasked with recruiting, training, and developing a team to deliver an exceptional brand experience to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Dairy Queen store.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Maximize sales and profitability through effective management of systems and processes.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees.
  • Monitor and manage profit & loss (P&L), inventory, labor, and scheduling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a restaurant general manager or in a similar food service leadership role.
  • Experience managing profit & loss (P&L), inventory, labor, and scheduling.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Food Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
