About the position

The General Manager at Sizzler is responsible for the overall financial and operational management of the restaurant. This role includes overseeing payroll, accounts payable, risk management, marketing, and ensuring compliance with service and product standards. The General Manager will also focus on developing and training management staff and hourly team members, while facilitating local store marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly payroll, accounts payable, risk management, marketing, and financial management of the restaurant.
• Uphold service and product standards; monitor compliance in all areas of the restaurant.
• Develop and train management staff; oversee training and development of hourly team members.
• Facilitate local store marketing efforts.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience or training in a managerial role.
• Ability to read and interpret financial and written information.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
