About the position

The General Manager at Marco's Pizza is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a team to deliver a high-quality guest experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to manage costs effectively while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations including supervision of store team members.
• Take, prepare, and deliver guest orders, and maintain store equipment and facilities.
• Respond to and effectively resolve guest complaints.
• Implement and maintain processes to ensure operational excellence in Marco's 10 Operating Systems.
• Ensure food safety practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Establish and strive to meet store weekly sales goals, service times, and guest experience goals.
• Be available to employees for questions and scheduling concerns.
• Manage food costs through inventory control and regular ordering of products and supplies.
• Manage labor costs through predictive labor scheduling for store team members.
• Protect company assets and maintain a safe restaurant environment.
• Manage all aspects of the Point of Sale system.
• Recruit and effectively interview applicants to select qualified candidates.
• Train and coach store team members in all Marco's procedures.
• Lead and model Marco's cultural beliefs to create a valued team environment.
• Be on call to manage store operations as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Obtain ServSafe Certification.
