About the position

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of a Taco Bell and KFC franchise, ensuring efficient management and customer satisfaction. This role involves executing administrative duties, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations while driving profitability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create value for shareholders through efficient operations and cost controls.
• Manage a corporate-owned restaurant within company policies, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
• Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies.
• Manage profit and loss by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory, and reviewing financial reports.
• Recruit, interview, and hire team members; conduct performance appraisals and take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain equipment, facility, and grounds through a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure food quality and customer satisfaction at all times.
• Execute corporate and local marketing programs timely and effectively.
• Facilitate a safe working environment by promoting safe work behaviors among the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but experience will be considered.
• Supervisory experience in food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic business math and accounting skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Computer literacy.
