About the position

The General Manager (GM) at The Boston Garden Dispensary will oversee the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations while leading the team to achieve business goals. The GM will be responsible for customer satisfaction, staff management, and financial performance, acting as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders including law enforcement and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate day-to-day operations of the dispensary.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervise staff.
• Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business progress.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints effectively.
• Manage team member performance, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Create and manage staff schedules and oversee daily operations.
• Supervise financial management, including profit and loss ownership and budget development.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
• Experience in cannabis retail management is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of METRC and MA adult-use cannabis laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with inventory management systems like LeafLogix.
• Knowledge of marketing initiatives to boost sales.
