About the position
The General Manager at Jersey Mike's Subs is responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, quality service, and profitability. This role involves leading a team, managing inventory, scheduling, and participating in strategic management meetings. Responsibilities
- Manage store operations and sales
- Ensure quality of service and customer satisfaction
- Oversee profit margins and inventory management
- Schedule staff and manage payroll
- Lead employee training and development
- Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions
Requirements
- 2 years of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience preferred
- Serve Safe Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Willingness to work a minimum of 48 hours per week
