About the position

The General Manager at Cosentino's Distribution Center in Oklahoma City is responsible for overseeing the sales and profitability of multiple distribution centers. This role involves managing the sales team, implementing corporate initiatives, ensuring high-quality customer service, and tracking project progress to drive commercial development. The General Manager will also focus on staff development, sales growth, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales and profitability of several distribution centers.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of the sales team.
  • Carry out corporate initiatives and goals.
  • Protect the integrity of customer service levels.
  • Track projects to achieve commercial development.
  • Grow sales and distribution of affiliated company product lines.
  • Focus promotional efforts on point-of-purchase displays.
  • Track competitor activity and manage key customers and local distributors.
  • Create and adhere to a yearly budget for expenses and revenue.
  • Manage, monitor, and evaluate the results of the center.
  • Manage the sales teams of the assigned locations.
  • Manage relationships with regional fabricators and provide customer support.
  • Manage National Account relationships and compliance.
  • Lead by example to grow talent within the staff.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are enforced among the sales team.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Regional Director.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • 2+ years in the stone industry required.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
  • Master's degree desired.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience with SAP or other Order Management programs.
