About the position

The General Manager (GM) at TITLE Boxing Club is responsible for overseeing all sales, fitness, and operations functions within the club to ensure an exceptional member experience and a positive team environment. The GM plays a crucial role in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performance team while driving the club's financial success. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding company standards and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a fully engaged and high performing team that aligns with company values and goals.
  • Recruit, interview & hire all staff, ensuring proper staffing levels in the club.
  • Train, coach, and conduct planning sessions and performance reviews for staff.
  • Conduct club meetings to review performance and provide direction and motivation.
  • Implement and supervise regular training for all club employees in Operations, Fitness, and Sales SOPs.
  • Instill a sense of common responsibility and teamwork across club functions.
  • Ensure department heads and assistant department heads are cross-trained on each other's positions.
  • Create and conduct team building activities and participate in recognition programs.
  • Provide oversight and training to sales and fitness teams to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Group Sales team to drive sales through lead generation and events.
  • Analyze performance and manage fitness teams to drive results.
  • Establish a fun, safe, and community-focused club culture that delivers high member satisfaction.
  • Resolve elevated member concerns and conduct lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor club appearance and ensure a clean, friendly environment.
  • Oversee Time & Labor protocol to company standards.
  • Prepare reports and communications regarding club operations as needed.
  • Provide direction on critical safety and security priorities.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of fitness management experience supervising 3-10 employees.
  • 3-5 years in the fitness industry, including extensive sales experience.
  • Experience managing P&L and trend reports.
  • Experience supervising, directing, and coaching teams.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CPR and AED certification required.
