About the position

The General Manager at Genesis by Dr. Reyhani is responsible for overseeing the operations and business development of the dental practice. This role requires a strong leader who can coach and guide team members, enhance patient experiences, and drive profitability. The General Manager will formulate company policies, manage financial performance, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives while fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and administer company policies and direct divisional activities to meet business goals.
  • Analyze activities, costs, and operations to assess progress toward goals.
  • Review achievements and discuss necessary changes in objectives with management.
  • Develop and implement business strategic planning, including sales and financial performance.
  • Oversee key projects and performance reports, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage full revenue performance of the center and staff performance.
  • Review and manage key performance indicators such as sales and collections.
  • Foster relationships with Doctor Partners to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Manage the annual operating planning process to meet strategic objectives.
  • Review financial performance to ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and procurement.
  • Support clinical training programs for staff in collaboration with Clinical Affairs.
  • Manage employee performance and development in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all patient and employee matters.
  • Manage the Center's P&L and explain financial results to physicians.
  • Oversee compliance and policy enforcement in various operational areas.
  • Collaborate with corporate support offices to utilize available resources effectively.
  • Monitor consult flow and surgical schedules for efficiency.
  • Hire and manage center-level staff in collaboration with Recruiting Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a business concentration or MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in operations and sales leadership.
  • At least two years of experience in a senior leadership role with C-level executives.
  • Strongly preferred experience in dental industry operations or practice management.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing in a multi-entity, multi-state environment is desirable.
  • Expertise in operations management, strategic planning, and employee motivation techniques.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and planning skills.
