About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in the food service industry. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the establishment to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service delivery.
  • Oversee staff training and development programs to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage food production processes to maintain quality standards while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create a cohesive work environment that fosters teamwork and productivity.
  • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively to maintain a positive reputation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Strong understanding of food production processes and food management principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices within the food industry.

Nice-to-haves
