Responsibilities

  • Oversee all areas of canteen operations including retail, food, vending, and sales.
  • Manage personnel, administrative controls, and processes related to canteen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory controls, stock schedules, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement promotional programs to enhance sales and customer engagement.
  • Achieve financial goals set by VCSCO and/or Region Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct food/retail management experience.
  • Experience with inventory management, supply cost controls, and P&L management.
  • Proven track record of building sales and increasing profits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess business needs.
  • Hands-on leadership with a focus on service and hospitality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with POS Systems.
  • ServSafe certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

  • Associate Degree in Business, Hospitality, or Management preferred.
