As a General Manager at Wonder, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and driving business growth. Your role will involve managing operations to achieve results, prioritizing food safety, and providing top-notch customer service. Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and drive results
  • Lead, engage, and motivate a team of hourly restaurant team members, while also supporting administrative staff
  • Recruit, onboard, and train top talent for your restaurant
  • Manage P&L to meet operational goals and stay within budget
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding team achievements, priorities, protocols, and operational changes
  • Demonstrate effective floor management by optimizing staff deployment for maximum efficiency
  • Address performance issues promptly and respectfully through training, coaching, and conflict resolution
  • Drive restaurant sales and service efficiency by resolving operational obstacles
  • Oversee inventory and food safety protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency, emphasizing compliance with product shelf life and dating guidelines
  • Prioritize team member safety through clear communication and leading by example
  • Ensure all team members provide excellent customer service
  • Monitor team performance from a customer perspective and recognize outstanding performance
  • Schedule daily work to meet business needs and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience as a general manager or similar leadership position in a high-volume quick service restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and develop teams of over 15 members per shift
  • Experience managing restaurant operations, including food waste and cost reporting, labor, and P&L
  • Ability to consider multiple variables to find the best solution to a problem
  • Capacity to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy
  • Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
