About the position

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitability and service excellence throughout the property.
  • Create a culture of empowerment and team spirit among staff.
  • Submit timely and accurate financial information to the company.
  • Ensure full implementation of company and brand standards.
  • Control purchasing in accordance with the budget and company policy.
  • Work with team members to ensure ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain an appraisal system for employee training and growth.
  • Keep employee files in accordance with company policy and federal/state guidelines.
  • Monitor staff schedules to align with business demands and legal requirements.
  • Promote sales for revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Prior management or senior supervisory experience in hotels.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a team.
  • Proven ability to operate a hotel profitably.
  • Intermediate accounting skills.
  • Working knowledge of a PMS system.
