About the position

The General Manager at Miguel's Jr. is responsible for leading both the Front and Back of House teams in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setting. This role encompasses full business responsibility, including financial and operational performance, guest service excellence, and team development. The General Manager represents the brand within the community and is tasked with creating a positive work environment that promotes sales and retention of top talent.

Responsibilities

• Drive combined team performance in BOH and FOH towards daily excellence in execution and great guest service.
• Create a positive work environment across the team to promote sales and retention of top talent.
• Manage the financial and operational performance of the business to meet and exceed company goals/metrics.
• Promote guest service proactively and handle guest recovery regarding restaurant-level issues/complaints.
• Source, solicit, interview, and select top talent to fulfill current and future needs.
• Lead by example through performance management, training, coaching, and positive role modeling.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Area Manager.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role in a QSR with P&L responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication, predominantly in English.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
