About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that team members are focused on hospitality and performance. This role involves recruiting and training staff, executing marketing plans, maintaining inventory and equipment, and providing leadership to the team. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members, while upholding the values of the Capstone Restaurant Group: People, Hospitality, and Integrity.

Requirements

• 3-5 years management experience in a quick service dining concept.
• Financial/Analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• High sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire staff, maintaining a bench for future growth.
• Execute all marketing plans, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
• Ensure proper staffing and training of Team Members through effective training programs.
• Provide leadership by creating excitement and commitment to company objectives.
• Maintain correct inventory levels and ensure equipment is in excellent condition.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in all phases of restaurant operations and technology.
• Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies.
• Motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Crew Members to perform at their highest ability.
• Review preliminary P/L's and communicate questions to the District Manager.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe environment.
