About the position

The General Manager at Bal Harbour Tower Condominium Association is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a luxury high-rise community. This role requires a strong background in hospitality management, financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure resident satisfaction and effective community management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring all services and facilities are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and audits to ensure financial stability and transparency within the community.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring the property is well-maintained and all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing direction, support, and training to ensure high performance and exceptional service.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and community policies.
  • Plan and oversee community events and activities that promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Community Association Manager (CAM) license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in community association management, with a strong preference for those with a background in hospitality.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and managing community finances.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
