About the position

The General Manager at Air Culinaire Worldwide is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the catering services in alignment with the directives of the District Manager. This role involves managing the quality of work, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving performance and efficiency standards. The GM is accountable for local sales efforts, client engagement, and maintaining high customer service standards, while also participating in promotional activities to enhance revenue and client loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of work performance of the team under the direction of the District Manager.
• Support global communications and operations standards to meet client demands.
• Ensure performance standards, product specifications, and culinary expertise in all kitchens.
• Utilize Shipday for logistical information and ensure accurate delivery processes.
• Communicate and collaborate with the District Manager and Senior Director of Operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Participate in promotional activities and client relationship building efforts.

Requirements

• Culinary experience and knowledge of employment & labor law.
• Experience in succession planning and managing operational directives.
• Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
