About the position

The position is focused on ensuring a consistently positive and memorable guest experience while managing the operational aspects of the property. This includes sales efforts, team management, and maintaining compliance with various laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a consistently positive and memorable guest experience
  • Participate in sales efforts by knowing key accounts and meeting with potential and current clients
  • Conduct curb-to-room property walks to identify and monitor repairs and/or housekeeping needs
  • Select, orient, train, and manage a team of employees
  • Handle all assigned P&L responsibilities and ensure consistent profitability of the property
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed
  • Implement payroll and inventory cost control policies and procedures
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality and customer service are delivered
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage & Hour, and Health laws.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality management
  • Strong sales skills and ability to build client relationships
  • Knowledge of property maintenance and housekeeping standards
  • Ability to manage and train a team effectively
  • Understanding of P&L responsibilities and financial management
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations in hospitality
