About the position

The General Manager at CAVA is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations and team members, ensuring a guest-focused and team-oriented environment. This role emphasizes leadership, motivation, and the establishment of high standards to create a positive work atmosphere and successful daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations and team members.
• Provide leadership and motivation to ensure a guest-focused and team-oriented environment.
• Set high standards and establish a positive work atmosphere for the team.
• Develop self and others, focusing on self-improvement while supporting the success of others.
• Manage the four-wall operation, including people development, inventory, labor, staffing, and accountability.
• Prioritize customer service, including internal customers and team members.
• Conduct regular people planning, coaching, training, and accountability, including corrective action when necessary.
• Inspire teams to create CAVA fanatics by finding ways to say 'yes' to every guest.
• Take ownership of every shift and take pride in the job.
• Foster collaboration and work with others to achieve group success.
• Adapt to change and solve problems through an open-minded approach.
• Assist with any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

• Senior level experience in restaurant management or similar role.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to prioritize customer service and team development.
• Experience in managing inventory, labor, and staffing effectively.
• Proven ability to achieve results and take ownership of operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and culture.
